Just hours after the booking for helicopter tickets to Kedarnath was opened on April 8, all the slots for May were completely sold out. This means that if you wish to travel to Kedarnath by helicopter, you will now have to wait for June, as all the May tickets have been booked.
It is important to note that the gates of Kedarnath Dham will open on May 2, 2025. From this day, helicopter services from the helipads at Guptkashi, Sirsi, and Phata will be operational. The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) started booking helicopter tickets for the period from May 2 to 31 on April 8. However, within just a few hours, all the tickets for May were snapped up. As a result, many pilgrims were left disappointed.
