Heavy Rain Expected in Uttarakhand: Yellow Alert Issued for 5 Districts

Dehradun: The weather in Uttarakhand is expected to change today, as the Meteorological Department has forecasted rain in several hilly districts of the state. A yellow alert has been issued for these areas, urging residents to remain vigilant. This change in weather comes after several days of dry conditions in the region.

Additionally, Dehradun, Pauri, and Nainital are likely to experience gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30-40 km/h. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts, urging people to stay cautious.

In Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, the sky is expected to remain partially cloudy today. Light rain, along with thunder and lightning, could occur in some areas, accompanied by gusty winds. The temperature in the capital is expected to range between a maximum of 34°C and a minimum of 20°C.
