Tragic Road Accident in Haridwar: Woman and 6-Year-Old Nephew Lose Their Lives

In a heart-wrenching incident in Haridwar, a woman and her 6-year-old nephew lost their lives after being struck by a speeding truck while returning from a wedding ceremony. The accident, which took place on the highway in Roorkee, has left the family and the entire community in deep shock.

The victims were identified as 21-year-old Gazala and her nephew Abubakar. According to reports, 22-year-old Amjad, Gazala, and Abubakar had attended a wedding in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. After the event, the three were riding back on their motorcycle when they reached Bhagwanpur. While navigating the area, they encountered a construction zone that blocked the service lane, forcing Amjad to steer the bike onto the main highway.

During this maneuver, the bike lost balance, causing Gazala and Abubakar to fall onto the road. Tragically, before they could recover, a speeding truck coming from behind ran over them, leaving them critically injured. Amjad was left in a state of shock and screamed for help, which attracted the attention of nearby locals.

The people in the vicinity immediately rushed to the scene, apprehended the truck driver, and handed him over to the police. Gazala and Abubakar were rushed to the hospital, but the doctors declared them both dead on arrival. The police took the bodies and placed them in the mortuary for further investigation.

The incident has left the family devastated, with relatives expressing their grief and sorrow over the loss.
