The world-famous Lav Kush Ramlila at Red Fort witnessed a grand spectacle as Ravan’s golden Lanka went up in flames, accompanied by roaring chants of Jai Shri Ram and powerful sound effects.
Delhi, 28 September 2025 – The sixth evening of the world-renowned Lav Kush Ramlila at the historic Red Fort grounds turned into a breathtaking spectacle as Ravan’s grand golden Lanka was set ablaze, transforming the venue into a sea of devotion, chants, and thunderous applause.
According to Arjun Kumar, President of the Lav Kush Ramlila Committee, the team anticipated a record-breaking turnout for this special evening. “We had deployed additional male and female bouncers, along with volunteers, to ensure smooth crowd management,” he said, as thousands of Ram bhakts flooded the venue.

As the massive Lanka prop caught fire, the ground echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ram!” and “Jai Hanuman!”. The use of eight-track stereo sound, large speakers, and firecracker effects created an electrifying atmosphere, making the audience feel as if they were part of the Ramayana itself.
