Actor Sandeep Mohan, currently portraying the revered sage Vashisht in Kaamdhenu Gaumata on Star Bharat, holds the Sagar family in the highest regard for their unparalleled contribution to Indian mythological television. Produced by Prem Sagar and Shiv Sagar under Sagar World Multimedia, the show continues the iconic legacy built over decades.

Having collaborated with the Sagars on numerous projects, Sandeep says their commitment to quality is unmatched.

> “Whenever I get a call to act in a Sagar production, I’m sure that the production, story, research, and execution will be top-notch. Nobody has ever been able to match the excellence the Sagars bring to mythology. This genre is tricky, but they have completely mastered it,” he shares.

His association with the family is rooted in both professional respect and spiritual connection.

> “I have a deep karmic bond with Shiv Ji and the legendary Sagar family. Prem Sagarji arranged my meeting with the great Ramanand Sagar, which led to my selection as Arjuna in Sri Krishna. That role still brings me recognition across the globe,” he recalls.

Over the years, Sandeep has been part of several Sagar productions, including Mahima Shanidev, Jai Jai Jai Bajrangbali, Vikram Betal, Mata Vaishno Devi, and more recently Kakbhushundi Ramayana, where he portrayed King Dashrath.
