Luv Kush Ramlila Day 4: AI-Enhanced Kevat Scene Mesmerizes Audience at Red Fort Grounds

Delhi’s iconic Red Fort grounds turned into a spiritual arena on Day 4 of the Luv Kush Ramlila 2025, where the legendary Kevat scene from the Ramayan came alive with a cutting-edge AI-powered presentation. The sight of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman crossing the river with Kevat’s heartfelt devotion left the audience awestruck, blending tradition with technology in a way never seen before.

The evening drew several prominent guests including Union Minister SP Baghel, Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj, and Delhi government minister Ashish Sood, who all graced the event to witness the grand staging of Ram’s leelas. Their presence added prestige to the celebration, and the committee extended a warm welcome to each dignitary, honoring them before the performances began.

Committee President Arjun Kumar revealed that, with the rising number of Ram devotees thronging the grounds, the committee had further strengthened security measures. Apart from the usual Delhi Police, Civil Defence, and Ramlila volunteers, professional bouncers were stationed around the venue to ensure a smooth and safe experience for thousands of visitors.

One of the most memorable moments of the night was when renowned singer-actor Shankar Sahney, playing Kevat, not only enacted the emotional scene but also filled the ground with his soulful singing. His devotional renditions had the audience singing along, creating a collective spiritual moment that brought goosebumps to many.

The fourth day’s performance covered several important episodes, from the announcement of Lord Ram’s coronation, to Nishad Raj’s meeting, culminating in the emotional Kevat scene. The cast, comprising experienced performers from Mumbai’s film and television industry as well as seasoned Delhi theatre artists, brought a high level of authenticity and dramatic brilliance to the stage, earning thunderous applause from the gathering.

According to General Secretary Subhash Goyal, Chairman Pawan Gupta, and Lila Minister Praveen Singhal, tomorrow’s program promises to be equally powerful. Friday’s staging will cover Sumant’s return, King Dashrath’s death, and the emotionally charged Bharat Milap sequence at Chitrakoot, drawing devotees deeper into the epic journey of Ramayan.
