Delhi, 27 September 2025 — The sixth day of the world-famous Lav Kush Ramlila at the historic Red Fort grounds delivered one of the most dramatic evenings of the season. The highlight was the visually stunning and emotionally charged Ravan–Jatayu battle scene, which left the audience gasping in amazement and applauding in unison.
According to Committee President Arjun Kumar, the Red Fort ground was flooded with devotees eager to witness the much-anticipated action-packed episode. “The energy today was electric,” he said, noting that the large turnout of young viewers was a testament to the popularity of the fight sequences and high-stakes drama that unfolded on stage.
The evening’s performance was graced by Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, who attended as the chief guest.
The Ramlila opened with the Sutikshna Prasang, followed by Agastya Muni Darshan, Panchvati Prasang, and the dramatic Surpanakha Naak–Kaan Bhedan (cutting of Surpanakha’s nose and ears). This was followed by Sita’s Agni Pravesh, Khar–Dushan Vadh, the heart-wrenching Sita Haran, the fierce Ravan–Jatayu Yudh, and the spiritually profound Jatayu Moksha.
Special sound design, AI-powered visual effects, and advanced digital backdrops elevated the storytelling to cinematic brilliance. The scene where Sita spots the golden deer and insists on having it, followed by Lord Ram’s pursuit of the deer, was presented using cutting-edge AI technology, making it one of the most talked-about moments of the evening.
Committee General Secretary Subhash Goyal, Chairman Pawan Gupta, and other key office-bearers including Satyabhushan Jain, Praveen Singhal, Sanjay Verma, Sandeep Bhutani, Gaurav Suri, Devendra Chaudhary, Mansi Arora, Nishant Gupta, and Veeru Sindhi welcomed the Union Minister and other distinguished guests. Each was felicitated with portraits of Lord Ram and the traditional Ram Nami Patka.
