This prophecy is detailed in religious texts such as the Agni Purana, and it holds significant relevance in Hindu teachings.

According to various religious Puranas, the Kaliyuga is said to last 432,000 years, of which we are currently in the first phase. As per the prophecies stated in the Agni Purana, it is believed that during Kaliyuga, Lord Vishnu will incarnate as Kalki to annihilate evil and protect dharma (righteousness).
