On the fifth day of Luv Kush Ramleela at Red Fort, the Bharat Milaap scene left the audience emotional, while Shikha Chaudhary’s soulful bhajans filled the air with devotion.

The historic Red Fort grounds in Delhi witnessed one of the most emotional evenings of Luv Kush Ramleela on its fifth day. The grand enactment of Bharat Milaap — the reunion of Bharat with Lord Ram — left the audience teary-eyed and deeply moved. With every dialogue echoing through the grounds, the emotional intensity of the scene captivated thousands of devotees.
Adding to the aura of the evening was the presence of several dignitaries, including BJP MP and General Secretary Pankaj Singh, who attended the Ramleela and praised the efforts of the committee. According to Arjun Kumar, President of the Luv Kush Ramleela Committee, the fifth day always carries a special significance as Bharat Milaap is one of the most poignant moments in the Ramayana.
The evening also saw Hollywood and Bollywood actress-singer Shikha Chaudhary make a special appearance. She bowed in reverence to Lord Ram before enchanting the audience with her melodious bhajans. Her soulful voice created a spiritual atmosphere that had the entire ground immersed in devotion.
The day’s enactment began with the return of Sumanth after Ram, Lakshman, and Sita’s departure to the forest. It moved through key moments such as Nishad Raj’s meeting with Ram, the iconic scene of Kevat ferrying Ram across the Ganga, the emotional passing of King Dashrath in Kaushalya’s palace, Bharat’s dream in his maternal home, his encounter with Shatrughna, and the deeply touching Kaushalya-Bharat conversation. The evening culminated in Bharat meeting Ram, their heartfelt dialogue, and Bharat accepting Ram’s paduka (sandals) as a symbol of his rule.
The highlight of the evening was when over 150 artists came together on stage during the Bharat Milaap scene. The sight was so powerful that chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Bharat Ram Ki Jai” echoed across the ground, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the audience.
All the dignitaries present were warmly welcomed by General Secretary Subhash Goyal, Senior Vice President Satya Bhushan Jain, Gaurav Suri, Sandeep Bhutani, Vice President Praveen Singhal, Sanjay Verma, and Veeru Sindhi. They were felicitated with a symbolic memento and a Ramnami stole as a token of respect. The performance featured some of the finest actors from Mumbai’s film industry and seasoned television stars, who brought each scene to life with their stellar performances.
