There has been a stir in the area after three reports related to land fraud were registered in Dhaulana tehsil in the last four days. Already, outside investors are shying away from betting on the land of the infamous Dhaulana tehsil. Due to which the price of land has stabilized.
At the same time, the administration's lack of strict action against land mafia is increasing their morale. The ability of the police to catch land-related fraud is proving to be a boon for the criminals.
On September 22, Nandpur's Patwari Rajni has filed a report against Prempal Singh, a person from the same village, accusing him of selling government land. On September 23, a businessman from Ghaziabad has filed a report against Rajkumar, Anish son of Wahid of Dehra and Raj Dulari for selling land at someone else's place.
On September 24, a case has also been registered against Vimlesh and her husband Jeet Singh in connection with not returning the money taken for land sale in village Dehra itself. Even before this, cases of selling land of Gram Samaj by committing fraud have come to light in Dhaulana tehsil many times.
According to the information, the police is not fully capable of investigating land related cases. Due to which fake accused easily escape during investigation.
Police station in-charge inspector Devendra Singh Bisht said that all the cases are investigated impartially. Before registering the case, higher officials also investigate the case. Only after this, a recommendation is made to register a report. Appropriate action is being taken while investigating all the cases.
