During an interview with a national news channel, Abhay Singh stated, “I am Kalki Avatar. This name was given to me by Lord Shiva while I was meditating deeply in Rishikesh.” His declaration has sparked widespread curiosity, admiration, and skepticism alike.

Claiming the Title of Kalki Avatar

Abhay Singh elaborated on his spiritual journey, explaining how the name “Kalki” came to him during a profound meditative state. He described it as a dream-like experience where Lord Shiva addressed him by this name. “When you are deeply immersed in meditation, it feels like a dream. That’s when Lord Shiva called me ‘Kalki,’” he said.

According to Hindu scriptures, Kalki is believed to be the tenth and final avatar of Lord Vishnu, destined to appear at the end of the current era to restore righteousness. By associating himself with this prophecy, Abhay Singh has positioned himself as a central figure in spiritual discourse.

He emphasized that names hold little significance unless backed by actions. “If your deeds are righteous, the name will manifest on its own. People give names, but true identity comes from work,” he explained.

While Abhay Singh refers to himself as Kalki, he revealed that people have addressed him by several other names throughout his journey. In Rishikesh, he was called “Raghav,” which he associated with Lord Rama. In Varanasi, a tantric referred to him as “Batuk Bhairav.” Another name he mentioned was “Madhav,” linked to Lord Krishna.

Despite these varied titles, Abhay Singh insists that his focus remains on fulfilling his spiritual mission rather than dwelling on labels. “The importance of a name arises only after establishing dharma and progressing toward truth,” he remarked.

Abhay Singh’s path to spirituality began during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many reevaluated their lives and priorities. After completing his education at IIT Bombay and working in Canada for two years, he returned to India, leaving behind a high-paying job to pursue a life of asceticism.

Born into a Jat family in Sasrauli village, Haryana, Abhay was known for his academic brilliance. His father, Karn Singh, a lawyer by profession, described him as exceptionally intelligent. However, over the past six months, Abhay has distanced himself from his family, blocking their phone numbers and severing ties completely.
